About:

minivet was founded by Ann Strieby in 2017. The name comes from the fact that 1. she’s a veterinarian and 2. she drives a Mini Cooper.

Ann has been a veterinarian since 2002. She is a graduate of California State University Northridge, with a BA and MS in Biology. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia, and later completed an internship at the West Los Angeles VCA Animal Hospital. She primarily works in California but is also licensed in Hawaii.

minivet began on the road. Ann provided mobile house calls to pets in need around Southern California, driving around her beloved branded Mini Cooper. While the business has evolved over time and house calls are no longer a part of minivet’s offerings, the spirit of Ann’s love for animals lives on through her relief services.

Ann currently resides in Oxnard, CA.
